Two amazing Charities
Whatever age you are, none of us are getting any younger and one of the motivating factors that led me to move my trip forward by a whole year is the growing realisation that tomorrow is never guaranteed for any of us. Now is the most precious time we have. This fact has struck home in the past two years with one close friend being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and subsequently received treatment which thankfully led to the cancer going into remission. His journey to through treatment and out the other side has inspired me to support Blood Cancer UK.
Another close friend’s mum has been diagnosed with terminal Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and rare, late-onset, neurodegenerative disease for which the PSPA is only registered charity in the United Kingdom. I will also be supporting the amazing work PSPA does to help care for those with this condition
Please find links to my Just Giving pages in support of these amazing causes. As I conduct further research of my own into these conditions an the work that is going on to find treatments and modes of care, I will post in this space.
Thank You! Your support is greatly appreciated.
